Every tool in this group runs in the page. Passwords are built with the Web Crypto API, then displayed and discarded — there is no server to send them to, and no storage that could leak them later.
Start with the standard generator if you just need a password. Use a length preset when a site refuses anything longer. Use the checker when you want to know what an existing password is actually worth, and the entropy calculator when you are comparing two password policies.

How long does it take to crack a password? The answer depends almost entirely on two things: how the password is stored, and how long it is.
